Ibá brings together more than 50 member companies that work in various fields, all based on planted trees. The chain that Ibá represents ranges from restoring degraded areas with native tree species for conservation and to provide environmental services to planting both exotic and native tree species to manufacture products like cellulose pulp, paper (such as paperboard, packaging, tissue and printing/writing papers), wood panels, laminate flooring, lumber and charcoal.

The strength of representation for the sector depends on corporate engagement. To ensure its members are involved in defining strategies and positions on the various issues addressed, Ibá has various committees, working groups and temporary task forces (click here to find out more).
