The Brazilian Tree Industry (Ibá) has implemented a number of initiatives to bring the planted tree sector closer to the end users of its products, promoting awareness of the relevance and potential of commercial plantations for the economy, the environment and society. The main initiatives include educational activities, communication campaigns and awards.

Circulate a Book

The #CirculeUmLivro [Circulate a Book] campaign, organized by Ibá and ABRIGRAF, promotes free book exchanges and invites people to reflect on the importance of reading and the sustainability of paper while encouraging the circular economy in its production chain.

Documentary with Warner Bros. Discovery

Ibá is producing a documentary in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, the Casa Redonda production company and Ibá member companies. The film will expand discussions around climate change, an increasingly urgent and relevant issue on the global stage.

Blue Sky

The Blue Sky Young Researchers Innovation Award is a global initiative that helps recognize young researchers who are driving innovation and promoting positive change in the field of forestry, process improvements and products from planted trees.

Ibá Journalism Award

The Ibá Journalism Award supports the press and encourages quality coverage of issues related to the planted tree sector. The initiative brings the successful award created in 2023 by APRE (the Paraná State Association of Forest-Based Companies) to the national level.
